I contacted Justin Pieragostini with request about renting a specific apartment LISTED ON CRAIGSLIST first time about a month ago. Apartment’s fee was designated as “broker – no fee”.
Mr. Pieragostini started sending me customized portals with listings with several apartments at a time. I was selecting some of them and rejecting others, and I was requesting Mr. Pieragostini to respond with an appointment to see the selected apartments. He was not responding to me for several weeks, except sending new listings.
Later, Mr. Pieragostini sent me an email saying that he was not reading my responses through the portal, and he asked me to send him emails with my responses. I started doing that. He would not respond to my emails still.
Mr. Pieragostini called me first time on November 11, 2011. Mr. Pieragostini STARTED with “I do not work with people LIKE YOU”. I asked what he meant. He said that I was too picky, that I do not want to pay broker fee [first, I never said that; second, all his listings were saying "no fee"].
Mr. Pieragostini further demanded that I was searching apartments EXCLUSIVELY with him. Overall his behavior and tone was unprofessional and rude.
I said to Mr. Pieragostini that I would report this incident to BBB. Mr. Pieragostini said, “That’s fine”. That was the end of the conversation.
