I Purchased my home in florida, in 06/09/2006, a single family 3 bedroom home.
The listing broker was Kevin & Susan Horan,located in New Port Richey, the selling broker, was Re/Max, agents Angela Clark & Tina Shank.
I also hired a Florida lawyer Mr Donald Peyton, & a inspector, called Block Builders Assoc to inspect the property.
On 8/18/2009 I decided I wanted to sell my property, I hired Century 21 Professional, to sell my home. My agent is Kevin Mc Cullough, the manager, is Gene Burgess, the owner of the company is Shirley Pheasant.
They are also located in New Port Richey.
When the agent returned with my paper work, he listed my property as a 2 bedroom. I questioned this, not very happy loosing a bedroom, & money which I had paid for a 3 bedroom home.
Mr Gene Burgess would not change the listing even though I had proof I purchased this home in 2006 as a 3 bedroom home.
After complaining, quiet often, Century 21 Professional decided to remove my virtual tour, & my home photo’s of my home on the web site on 9/13/2009. I called the office, & spoke with Kevin Mc Cullough, my agent he told me their company hired someone to install a new web site, & virtual tour, but it was not ready.
Kevin mc Cullough also informed me if I did not like it to go somewhere else. I told him after you listed my home as a 2 bedroom & now I have to start over again.
After that Century 21 Professional never placed my virtual tour back on, they listed my neighbor down the block, the owner Shirley Pheasant, gave the neighbor her own personal virtual tour, so I was informed.
I was also informed after that that we had a problem my listing was $20,000 more than the new listing shirley Pheasant, the owner of century 21 Professional listed.
I told the agent so, I wanted to know if they were going to disclose, that the listing they just listed, had a big shink hole problem, because by law they have to disclose this. They hung the phone up, when I asked that queestion.
Well in the end I hired a lawyer, to ask for an unconditional release, because this bunch of idiots wants me to give them a release.
I guess they thought I was born yesterday, knowing if I would release them if & when my home sells, they would be at my door for money.
I thought I was doing the right thing, hiring a lawyer & a inspector to protect my sale of my property.
Century 21 Professional, have discriminated & sabatoge the sale of my property, & listed my property, removing 1 bedroom, with no legal right.
The reason that all these companies, get away with brakeing all the laws are because Florida has no laws to protect the consumer.
Also when you report these companies to different agencies, 95% of them do nothing.
All these Real Estate agents want to do is sell a short sale or a forecloser, short & sweet so they have no work to do.
I am a New Yorker & proud of it, I find most of the agencies, when talking to them all have this very nasty attitude, maybe it is the water they are drinking, or maybe it is because most of florida is discriminates against people from New York.
Century 21 Professional has only been in business for 2 years, & if they were smart they would close up.
